Event Participation Disclaimer for Blaster Masters Events
Acknowledgment of Risk and Waiver of Liability
1. Acknowledgment of Risk:
I understand that participation in Gelsoft, Airsoft, Paintball, and other related activities (collectively referred to as “Activities”) organized by Blaster Masters Events involves inherent risks, dangers, and hazards that can result in serious personal injury or death. I am aware of the risks and hazards associated with these Activities and choose to voluntarily participate. I hereby assume all risks of injury, death, and property damage arising from my participation in these Activities.
2. Waiver of Liability:
In consideration of being allowed to participate in Activities organized by Blaster Masters Events, I, and any personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin, hereby release, waive, and discharge Blaster Masters Events, its officers, employees, agents, and volunteers (collectively “Releases”) from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from my participation in the Activities, whether caused by the negligence of the Releases or otherwise.
3. Indemnification:
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releases from any and all liabilities or claims made by other individuals or entities as a result of my actions during the Activities.
4. Compliance with Rules and Instructions:
I agree to comply with all the rules, regulations, and instructions of Blaster Masters Events while participating in the Activities.
5. Fitness to Participate:
I declare that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would make my participation in the Activities more hazardous.
6. Use of Image:
I understand that during the course of the Activities, I may be photographed or videotaped. I agree to allow my image, voice, or likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by Blaster Masters Events.
7. Acknowledgment:
This Waiver of Liability and Acknowledgment of Risk shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.
